Welcome! Please, let me tell you a bit about this project...

This is a large Final Fantasy VI hack that I have finished. I assure you that this hack has been tested, and played through multiple times, to ensure quality and lack of mistakes and bugs. Basically, I learned to use all the editors and tile/hex editors from scratch, trial and error style. Zeemis' tutorials are very nice, and a big help. My goal in the beginning was to make the bosses much more challenging, and add alot more personality to the dialog script, whilst keeping the feel and story of the original game. I did not want to butcher the story or the nostalgic feel... Although there is humor to be had!

Some of the obvious changes are as follows...

- Some music remixed with different instruments
- Increase in difficulty

- Script changes
- Changed the dialog font
- Lots of new monsters (from other games)
- New Espers
- All new portraits
- Guile (Leo sprite) replaces Edgar, Edgar is Leo
- Changed who equips certain items
- New bosses

- Many monsters elemental weaknesses changed

- New Spells

- A few new Relics, and no more Moogle Charm
- Hold "B" to sprint

- Terra starts with all 3 basic elemental spells

- Celes now only has healing spells to start with

- Renamed most of the items
- Custom battle scripts
- High end magic cost more
- Alot of the major known bugs fixed (Evade Bug, Vanish/Doom Bug, Rippler Bug, along with many other lesser bugs.)
- Changed some character sprites
- Czar Dragon enabled
- Custom title screen
- Alot of various nerfs & buffs
- Some graphics restored to original uncensored
- Auto Bow-Gun reduced damage and can miss
- Bum Rush damage reduced
- Ultima and Flare damage reduced
- Tornado changed so its not so useless

BOTH VERSIONS UPDATED WITH NEW PALETTE CHANGES, AND MORE BALANCING. BEST VERSION YET ;)

FFVI LAST HOPE (EDGAR FLAVOR) SAME HACK, BUT WITH EDGAR INSTEAD OF GUILE.
